CAR IGNORES ACCIDENTA silver/grey Toyota double cab bakkie hit the white Corsa bakkie of Mr Eugene and Mrs Dee Ennis at the turn-off to the Tzaneen Road on the Modjadiskloof road early Saturday morning.
The accident happened at approximately 05:30. Mrs Ennis wanted to turn off onto the Tzaneen bypass road and put on her indicator.
The Toyota passed her on the right hand side, ignoring the solid white lines scraping the Corsa and damaging the wheel to such an extent that the CV joints, steering rack and shock absorbers have to be replaced.
What makes matters worse is that the bakkie’s driver didn’t stop after the accident.
Mrs Ennis, was slightly injured. An ambulance who was behind the couple saw what happened and chased the bakkie but the driver was driving too fast and got away.
